The James Joo-Jin Kim Center for Korean Studies is thrilled to announce the 1st Digital Korea Workshop, happening Friday, April 26, 2024!

This workshop is open to both undergraduate and graduate students as well as postdoctoral researchers who are interested in Digital Humanities/Social Sciences.

1:00 – 2:30 pm: Introduction to Digital Humanities (Dr. Stewart Varner)

2:30 – 2:45 pm: Coffee Break

2:45 – 3:45 pm: Application of Digital Humanities/Social Sciences to Korean Studies – Text Analysis (Dr. Jongyoon Baik)

3:45 – 4:00 pm: Coffee Break

4:00 – 5:00 pm: Application of Digital Humanities/Social Sciences to Korean Studies – Quantitative Data Analysis (Dr. Andrew Taeho Kim)

5:00 – 5:30 pm: Overall Discussion – Next Workshops
