We are excited to announce "ASK ABOUT JAY: A conversation with Jay Park," an event co-hosted by the James Joo-Jin Kim Program in Korean Studies, Wharton Korea Club, and Wharton Asian American Association of MBAs (WAAAM) that will take place on September 4, 2018. 
Hailing from Seattle, WA., Jay Park is a prominent Korean-American hip-hop artist who has gained worldwide commercial and critical success.  Jay is the founder and CEO of two music labels (AOMG, H1GHR MUSIC), and the first Asian-American musical artist to sign with Jay-Z's label Roc Nation. He has recently released his first US EP, Ask About Me. 
In this conversation, Jay Park will share his perspectives on music, business, and his journey between the US and Korea.

Opening remarks will be delivered by Professor Eugene Y. Park (Korea Foundation Associate Professor of History, Director, James Joo-Jin Kim Program in Korean Studies). The conversation will be moderated by Patricia Eunji Kim (PhD Candidate and lecturer, History of Art), followed by an opportunity for audience members to ask their own questions.
