Lindsay Park is currently a junior pursuing a major in Systems Engineering with minors in engineering entrepreneurship and mathematics. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, she had never set foot in Korea but embarked on a journey to connect with her heritage by enrolling in Korean language courses at Penn. Her transformative experience, commencing with Korean 0100 and now advancing to Korean 0300, has empowered her to establish deeper bonds with her grandparents and fully embrace her Korean heritage. Lindsay credits the Korean Language Department for providing the foundation of her cultural identity and feels privileged to collaborate with the James Joo-Jin Center, engaging with passionate peers and esteemed faculty on pioneering research projects that resonate deeply with her heart.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Lindsay actively contributes to various campus initiatives. She holds the position of Vice President of External Affairs for the Society of Women Engineers, assumes a leadership role as a Penn Abroad Leader, engages in a year-long policy project as a Perry World House Fellow, and works as a teaching assistant for Human Systems Engineering (ESE 5430).
