Seyoon Chun

Major: History

Minor: East Asian Languages and Civilizations (Korean)

Seyoon Chun is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in History. Originally from New York, his primary research interests revolve around the Korean diaspora, the practice of oral history, and the expansion of Christianity into East Asia. Through the undergraduate fellowship, he hopes to investigate the historic ties between Korean universities and missionary work. Outside of research, Seyoon is involved with admissions work through the College Cognoscenti and teaches local Philadelphia high school students Asian American history through PAACH. In his free time, he loves to play the piano, pet cats, and try out new desserts.
