Now Accepting 2020-21 Kim Program Graduate Fellow Applications

The James Joo-Jin Kim Program in Korean Studies is pleased to announce the Graduate Fellow Award, aimed at students who are involved in the study of Korea and interested in active participation in the university’s Korean studies program. The Kim Program will recruit up to five (5) Graduate Fellows for the 2020-21 academic year. Fellows will be selected on the basis of academic merits and demonstrated interest in Korean studies. Applicants for this one-year, non-renewable award should be graduate students.

The James Joo-Jin Kim Program in Korean Studies is pleased to announce the Undergraduate Fellow Award, aimed at students who are involved in the study of Korea and interested in active participation in the university’s Korean Studies program. Hyunjoon Park is Korea Foundation Professor of Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania and Director of the James Joo-Jin Kim Program in Korean Studies.
Hyeyoung Woo is Associate Professor of Sociology at Portland State University.
