Special Collection in Demographic Research: Family Changes and Inequality in East Asia

The James Joo-Jin Program in Korean Studies held the first Social Sciences Korea conference in December 2019 with the theme, Family Changes and Inequality in East Asia.
The authors of the papers presented in the conference successfully published their papers in the peer-reviewed journal, Demographic Research and now 8 papers, along with the introduction to the special issue by Hyunjoon Park (Director, the Kim Program), are available as a Special Collection in the journal. They are all freely available from https://www.demographic-research.org/special/30/

The James Joo-Jin Kim Program in Korean Studies is pleased to announce the Graduate Fellow Award, aimed at students who are involved in the study of Korea and interested in active participation in the university’s Korean studies program. Fellows will be selected on the basis of academic merits and demonstrated interest in Korean studies. Applicants for this one-year award should be graduate students. Preference will be given to applicants at the early stage of a master or doctoral program.
